You have heard it said that everything is bigger in Texas. Well, judging from the thousands of things to experience in Fort Worth and Dallas, we'd have to agree with that assumption. Starting in Fort Worth — the home of RadioShack's corporate campus — a few of our favorite places include:

  • Sundance Square — The heart of downtown, beating with unique shops, incredible restaurants, and noteworthy venues like Bass Hall, art galleries and movie theaters.
  • Stockyards — More than 100 acres of tradition, nightlife and family entertainment including Billy Bob's Texas, the world's largest honky-tonk.
  • Cultural District — Historic Camp Bowie Boulevard is lined with specialty boutiques, restaurants and art galleries.

Fort Worth is a cultural hub in North Texas. Some of our more famous museums include:

  • Amon Carter Museum
  • Kimbell Art Museum
  • Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

Just 30 miles to the east, Dallas is home to world-class shopping, dining and entertainment. A few venues include:

  • West End District — Full of dining, nightlife and shopping — a must for tourists.
  • Uptown — A plethora of restaurants, shops, galleries and theaters.
  • Highland Park — Upscale dining and shopping for the cosmopolitan crowd.

In addition to excellent public and private K-12 schools, the Dallas/Fort Worth area is home to several accredited universities. A partial list includes:

  • Southern Methodist University
  • Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
  • Tarrant County College
  • Texas Christian University
  • Texas Wesleyan University
  • University of Dallas
  • University of North Texas
  • University of Texas at Arlington
